Ying Wa Information
Ying Wa Primary School Symphonic Band will be visiting London as part of its European tour 2019
During the London visit the band will be performing at St Martin-in-the-Fields as part of its regular concert series. More details and BOOKING INFORMATION here.

The 80 musicians in the band will also be participating in a 4-day English Music Academy chamber music course held at Imperial College Woodward Hall, situated in west London. The young instrumentalists will be coached by English Music Academy tutors, all renowned professional players.
During the course the members of the band will be divided into chamber groups and receive coaching from our tutors. They will receive high quality tuition in productive practice methods, technical development, musical appreciation, stage presentation and maintaining peak performance.
Of course, team bonding, socialising and learning more about London life and British culture will be an important part of the band’s visit to London so we’ll be organising some great sightseeing ventures including a boat trip down the River Thames and a day out at Windsor Castle.
